Forez Est

A land of contrasts due to its undulating terrain, located in the heart of the Loire department, the Forez-Est destination is the result of cooperation between 42 municipalities. From 300 to 1,000 metres above sea level, this green and abundant land with a thousand different aspects, stretches from the Forez plain, which is crossed by the Loire River in the west, to the Monts du Lyonnais in the east; from the thermal spa of Montrond-les-Bains in the south to Mont Boussuivre in Violay and its famous Matagrin Tower in the north.
